API Catalog

Access our comprehensive API endpoints. Explore complete documentation and examples of service integration.

IMO Health’s APIs are grouped into four platform areas. Precision Normalize — documented in full in this portal’s API Reference — sits within the Terminology Server area.

This portal documents Precision Normalize end to end, including generated TypeScript, Python, and Java SDKs. The other catalog entries below mirror the production API catalog.

Terminology Server

Terminology Server API

Secure, scalable endpoints for ingesting, searching, and managing healthcare terminology datasets, enabling efficient access to code systems and value sets with robust licensing controls.

Knowledge Graph

Access IMO’s comprehensive clinical terminology data and mappings. Query clinical concepts, relationships, and code mappings across IMO’s standard clinical terminology and industry-standard code sets.

Clinical AI

Context-Aware Extraction (CAE)

Clinical NLP that identifies clinically relevant problems and conditions within unstructured clinical notes. Maps extracted concepts to clinician-friendly IMO terms and standardized clinical vocabularies, producing structured, computable data from free-text documentation.

De-Identification

Identify and obfuscate Protected Health Information in unstructured clinical text. A two-step flow — PHI Identification via Named Entity Recognition, then PHI Obfuscation with a configurable per-entity policy — supporting HIPAA Safe Harbor workflows.

Clinical Data Reasoning

Coding Intelligence API

Automated validation of diagnosis codes, enforcement of CMS rules (Excludes1), and access to curated administrative coding sets. Supports accurate code selection and identifies coding conflicts, helping reduce claim denials and ensure regulatory compliance.

Content & Data Management

Value Sets — GraphQL

Pre-built, ready-to-use value sets plus tools for customization. GraphQL APIs give flexible access to value set content and management — search, create, update, and retrieve while requesting only the data you need.

Crosswalks

Map multiple source codes to corresponding target codes, within the same code system or across different ones. Create, update, delete, search, and retrieve crosswalks.
